Overview
The Mandai Zoo in Singapore uses the LCP Lycorseam® Aluminium standing seam system for its roofing and cladding. The project is part of a larger nature and wildlife hub, where the aim is to integrate modern buildings with their surrounding environment. Lycorseam® helps here by creating long roof spans, clean lines, and very few exposed joints.
The panels are made from aluminium with PVDF finishes such as COLORBOND®. They are lightweight yet strong, able to withstand heat, rain, and high humidity. At Mandai, the system adds durability, lowers maintenance, and supports the zoo’s focus on energy efficiency and sustainable design.
